Practise Early On

Have you ever learnt a coping strategy, only to completely forget about it when you actually need it?

This video looks at why practising coping strategies before you’re in a stressful situation can be useful, especially when a strategy is still new or unfamiliar.

You don’t necessarily need to wait until you’re struggling to practise a coping strategy. Sometimes, practising early gives you the opportunity to learn, test and adjust it before you need to rely on it.
